Work has just been completed on the extension of a family home to provide an enlarged kitchen with garden room, cloakroom and external entertaining area. The extension was designed to complement the existing style of the original house with gable end, however to reduce the impact and mass of the extension larch cladding was used to create a softer finish to the existing grey lias stone used on the main house.
We provided a complete architectural service on the project from initial feasibility, design development, planning, building regulations, procurement of a contractor via tender and provided contract administration of the project on site with the works being completed within programme and budget.
